Upcoming Special Event!! 2 Classes with Lynell Harlow Owner of Dreamweaver Stencils Class 1: Molten Magic with Metallic F/X Join the owner of Dreamweaver Stencils as she explores a new technique using Metallic F/X Mica powders and Dreamweaver Pearlescent Embossing Paste with stencil designs. This effective way of combing the two mediums creates unbelievable molten magic. Each piece you work on is uniquely your own. All materials for the class are provided, but bring adhesives and scissors a or trimmer if you wish to put cards together at the end of class. 1 day workshop, Friday 6/15 10-12:30 $40 supplies included Class 2: EMBOSSING PASTE & CRACKLE EMBOSSING PASTE Lynell Harlow will start with the basics and progress to the advanced technique of working with crackle paste. Also learn to make backgrounds on acetate with the Color Solution Artist Grade Alcohol Ink and Metallic F/X powders. Step-by-step information will help you feel confident as you work with these materials. All materials are included. Tools? Wednesday 6/2 1-4pm $45 some supplies included Mixed Media Mondays with Dina Remi Join us for a fun filled morning as we go page by page creating a journal exploring new mixed media techniques and playing with the latest materials! 3 weeks, 1 session Mondays 6/4-6/18 10-12pm $60 plus supplies Beginning Acrylic Painting with Dina Remi Learn to handle and control this spontaneous and quick drying medium. From color mixing to brush techniques this class will guide you through from beginning to end as you learn to draw accurately with paint and create a sense of dimension using tonal values, color temperature and saturation. 4 weeks, 1 session Thursdays 6/7-6/28 10-12pm $120 supplies included Art for Beginners: Experiencing Materials with Yael Zahavy-Mittelman Enjoy art but never had the chance to give it a try? Or are you curious to change the medium you are currently working in? Learn how to look at art and explore using a variety of materials and techniques. No experience needed, just curiosity! 4 weeks, 1 session Thursdays 6/7-6/28 6-8pm $100 supplies included Fundamentals of Oil with Larine Chung Learn how to see effectively like a master painter! In this introductory fundamentals class you will learn key concepts and principles in order to accurately render line, shape, proportion and negative space while working from still lifes.
