Colorful and Fun, Art to lift your spirits!
Adam Capek, our assistant store manager, is showing his paintings in our lower level Gallery through the month of November. Meet Adam and see his wonderful art this Saturday from 1-2pm. Enjoy a bit of the bubbly and get insight into Adam's colorful art!
Artist Statement: I have lived in Kirkland all my life and art has always been a passion for me. Colors and shapes particularly intrigue me. Some of my influences have been Dali, Kandinski, and Miro. As time has gone on, I have developed my own style within abstract surrealism as a way for me to bring a mix of organic ideas and fantasy painting to the canvas. Currently, I have been immersed in the art of tattoo design and am enjoying working traditional themes into new designs. Most of my work is done in acrylic and watercolor. I also work with pen and ink, oils, and oil pastel. I hope you will enjoy what you see and be inspired to let your imagination find you willing.
